I was born in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E and raised in Sri Lanka. When I was 18, I made the decision to go to the States to pursue an undergraduate degree in Economics. I graduated in 2003, and then started a career with a finacial service firm in Chicago. About a year after, I was offered an opportunity to work in London and I jumped in on the offer with both feet.
In August 2008, my brother came to me with an opportunity in MLM. At the time, I did not have much knowledge on the industry. I knew it was a business.I went with my gut feeling and joined the business because I trusted my brother. I started off by doing the business myself because I did not know anyone who did the business in the UK. 5 months went by and no success yet. I was frustrated because of my lack of results. This was a very low point in my life. I was on the verge of quitting but something inside of me kept me going. I was not willing to give up because it was not in my DNA. I kept on going…
Couples of months later, I found a core group of great people to work with. We managed to build a sizable team using traditional marketing methods and at one point we saw our team stagnant. It was a matter of time when we saw our team dwindle in numbers. Seeing this happening was painful as we worked so hard to reach that point.
At that point, I had to rethink about my business because whatever that I was doing was not working. I started looking at other avenues. One day my business partner and I were searching on the internet and came across a few MLM gurus. This was our GAME CHANGER!
We decided to meet this group in the States. This trip was life changing. It was then when I decided to make it big in the network marketing industry. I believed in myself again, and now I am working with this group of people in pursuit of my goals and dreams.
Below I have listed out a few of my goals that I WILL accomplish in my life time.
GOALS & DREAMS
- Build an orphanage in Sri Lanka that can support and educate at least 200 orphans
- Become a public speaker, trainer and coach in Network Marketing educating and helping more than 10,000 people on how to succeed in this industry.
- Own a luxury beach house in Sri Lanka with a nice car
- Travel the world visiting more than 100 countries.
